Student housing provider Unite is expected to get consent to build a 327 unit development in Bath tomorrow.
Unite’s new development – its second in Bath – will comprise a mix of four and five storeys and will be built on a brownfield site located between the Lower Bristol Road and the River Avon.
Design and planning manager Simon Trafford said: “Unite has worked closely with Bath and North East Somerset Council and other key stakeholders to integrate our scheme sympathetically into the local environment.
“Our Lower Bristol Road scheme, formerly known as George Yeo, will provide an attractive redevelopment of a mainly derelict site, relieve pressure on the traditional private rented sector and, in many cases, return homes to the community for family occupation.”
