Targetfollow gets £122m Norwich go-ahead

Targetfollow has gained consent for a £122m regeneration scheme to the south of Norwich city centre.

The property investment and development company, which is based in the Norfolk city, plans a 450,000 sq ft mixed-use development of Harford Place on Hall Road.

It include offices, a hotel, shops, leisure and flats, as well as a public square on three of its sites, including the former Bally shoe factory, the existing Hall Road Retail Park and the former home of builder T Gill & Son.

It will also include a new 10,000 sq ft community arts centre, which will provide exhibition space and facilities for local artists.

Mark Bradley, portfolio manager at Targetfollow, said: “It is very much our intention, despite what you may have read about the property market, to be on site early next year and to have the scheme completed by the end of 2010.”
