The four-year Wembley stadium legal dispute between Cleveland Bridge and Multiplex is set to continue after both sides asked for leave to appeal September’s High Court decision.
In September, Jackson J in the Technology and Construction Court awarded Multiplex more than £6m in damages for breach of contract, overpayments and interest after Cleveland Bridge walked off the project in 2004 following a dispute over payment.
On Tuesday, both sides lodged applications for leave to appeal aspects of the High Court ruling.
An appeal court judge is to decide whether the case will be heard in the Court of Appeal.
