Hotel group Mandarin Oriental has unveiled images of its first five-star hotel in Moscow, Russia.
The ‘upside-down’ hotel, designed by HOK, will feature 250 bedrooms, two ballrooms, a spa, gym and swimming pool, bars and restaurants, 70,000 sq ft of designer stores and 270 cars.
It is to be built on a central site on Tversjaya Road – Moscow’s equivalent to London’s Oxford Street.
Work on site is expected to start at the end of the year, with completion in 2011.
