White Young Green might close five more offices next month.
The construction consultancy closed seven regional offices between December and April.
It alerted the markets to its anticipation of lower-than-expected full-year adjusted pretax profit of about £12m this year. It expects £12m of property costs.
The shares fell 10% to 26.25p.
