Universities Superannuation Scheme has acquired Enfield Retail Park in Enfield, Middlesex, from Henderson Global Investor’s UK Retail Warehouse Fund for £38.35m and an 8.5 % yield.
The 150,900 sq ft Enfield Retail Park comprises seven shops and a standalone restaurant.
The scheme is fully let to retailers including Homebase, Comet, Halfords and Toys R Us.
The purchase follows USS’s recent purchase of Marsh Mills Retail Park in Plymouth for £27.5m and Prologis Park in Bromley by Bow for £48m.
