Blast! It turned out fine once again

The RICS benevolent fund, LionHeart, joined forces with the Property Gun and Punt Club to hold the 24th PGPC clay pigeon shoot last month. The event took place at the Holland & Holland Shoot Ground in Northwood, Middlesex.

Some 25 teams, each of four guns, took part in the event, raising £5,000 for LionHeart. And for the 10th year in a row the weather was fine and sunny, without a drop of rain. Someone has connections in high places!

Holland & Holland laid on a challenging event which produced some exciting shooting and high scores, with BBB&R and Elmer and the Fudds claiming top prizes.

The main sponsor of the shoot was Stanley Hicks, while contributions also came from HDDA, the Chartered Surveyors Company, Emmerson Barnett, E3Consulting, Brian Lamden Associates, Ian Hughes, Trilogie, TFT Tuffin Ferraby Taylor and Adventis Group, as well as Estates Gazette.

Mike Greensmith, chairman of LionHeart, Roger Tuck, chairman of the PGPC, and Richard Greenaway of Stanley Hicks, presented the prizes and thanked everyone who helped make the annual shoot a successful and enjoyable event once again.
