Phase Eight debuts in Bon Accord Centre

High street retailer Phase Eight is the latest in a series of fashion retailers to sign up to Land Securities’ and British Land’s Bon Accord Centre in Aberdeen.

Phase Eight has taken a 10-year lease on a 1,993 sq ft unit, on the ground-floor of the 700,000 sq ft centre.

The first Phase Eight store opened in 1979, the company has since grown into a nationwide fashion chain in more than 100 UK locations.

The new Aberdeen store, set to open this autumn, will offer a range of clothing, accessories and footwear.

On behalf of the partnership, which also owns the neighbouring St Nicholas Centre, Katherine Armstead, said: “I am delighted that, once again, another retailer has selected Bon Accord as its first choice location in Aberdeen, following the likes of Next, Topshop, Kurt Geiger and Karen Millen, among many others.

“I am confident the influx of retailers is down to our recent multi-million-pound investment in our Aberdeen centres, updating and improving surroundings for our shoppers and retailers.

“Plus, the impressive array of stores now signed up to Bon Accord heightens its overall appeal with more retailers choosing to locate alongside some of the biggest names around.”

Cushman & Wakefield acted for Bon Accord & St Nicholas; CWM acted for Phase Eight.
