Carpathian has appointed Andrew Shepherd to the board as a non-executive director.
The company, which focuses on property investment in Central and Eastern Europe, said Shepherd, 41, is based in Warsaw, Poland.
He is currently co-chief executive of Celtic Property Development, a Central European property developer concentrating on office and residential developments in Poland and the Balkans.
He is also a director of Celtic Asset Management and AIM-listed Terra Catalyst Fund, managed by Laxey Partners, a substantial shareholder of Carpathian.
