Andrew Jones, head of retail at British Land, has now formally tendered his resignation.
At the same time two other senior members of the team, Valentine Beresford and Mark Stirling have also tendered their resignations.
BL chief executive Chris Crigg said: “Andrew has done an excellent job for British Land and has helped develop a highly skilled retail team.
“The team provides outstanding management of our retail portfolio and is well qualified to capitalise on the excellent opportunities we see emerging over the next stage of the cycle. We wish Andrew, Valentine and Mark well for the future.”
Jones added: “I have very much enjoyed my four years with the company and am pleased to be leaving it so strongly positioned for the future and in very good hands. However, I am excited about the new opportunities and challenges that this market will undoubtedly provide.”
Jones will leave the company on 31 January, 2010.
