Grant Bovey, husband of TV presenter Anthea Turner, has been ordered to pay back £1m to creditors of his failed buy-to-let empire.
Imagine Homes and its subsidiaries collapsed into administration with debts of more than £50m early last year.
Bovey could also be blocked from starting up another company after accountants criticised his conduct in a report filed with government watchdogs.
