Philip Grace’s fledgling serviced office group i2 Office has appointed Stonemartin founder Colin Peacock as its chairman.
Peacock founded serviced office operator Stonemartin Corporate Centres in 1999 and left the company in advance of its sale to Regus in 2008.
He will take on the newly created role with effect from 11 January 2010.
He joins CEO and i2 Office founder Philip Grace on the company’s board of directors.
Grace last year quit United Business Centres, the 23-strong serviced office group he formed in 1999, to set up i2 Office.
Grace is aiming to open between 30 and 50 centres and has began talks with a number of landlords and institutions about taking space in “prime locations”.
