Stephenson Harwood takes offices at Hermes City scheme

Stephenson Harwood is to take 110,000 sq ft at Hermes Real Estate’s 1 Finsbury Circus in the City, London EC2. The deal is the first major letting for Hermes in the 187,000 sq ft office building. Last month, the law firm had been under offer at St Martins Property Group’s 150 Cheapside, London EC2, but the landlord ended negotiations. McDermott Will & Emery is now considering 150 Cheapside and PRUPIM’s 181,000 sq ft Park House, after being locked out of taking space at Drapers Gardens, London EC2. Knight Frank advised Stephenson Harwood; King Sturge and CB Richard Ellis acted for Hermes; Studley advised McDermott Will & Emery.
