The US restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday plans to open in Britain this summer, with its first outlet set to open in Cardiff in June and four more in the planning stages.
The chain, led by founder and chief executive, Sandy Beall, has more than 900 owned and franchised restaurants and revenues of more than $1.4bn (£905m).
Meanwhile, Paramount Holdings, the company behind chains including Chez Gerard and Caffe Uno, is working with accountants Grant Thornton on a review and as a result could face restructuring for the second time in less than a year.
