LSH appoints head of office to south coast team

Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Graham Holland as head of office for the south coast.

Holland replaces John Butt, who has headed up the offices in Fareham and Southampton since 2006.

Holland set up Holland Mitchell, the Southampton-based agent, in 1991.

The practice merged with Young & Butt in 2005.

The enlarged firm was bought by LSH in December 2006.

Holland has since held a director position.

He said: “2010 will present a lot of positive challenges for the team, as property markets appear to be recovering from one of the sharpest downturns ever experienced.

“We are seeing improved confidence from property investors, developers and occupiers alike, and as a leading force in the regional property market we need to tap into the consequent opportunities.”

In addition to general practice commercial surveying, Holland heads the office agency team and has extensive experience in motor trade transactions.

Butt has taken on a business development role for the south coast team.
