BBH takes new lease at London HQ

Advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty has signed a new lease at its current global headquarters in the West End.

The firm will stay in their 60,000 sq ft offices at 60 Kingly Street taking a new 15 year lease which starts on expiry of their existing lease in July 2010.

Landlord the Crown Estate and BBH, advised by Edward Charles and Partners, agreed the lease renewal following discussions beginning in the autumn of 2009.

David Shaw, head of Regent Street portfolio at The Crown Estate said: “We are delighted to retain such an important office occupier on Regent Street.

“The direct nature of our deal reflects our customer focussed approach to asset management. BBH has been based on Regent Street for the last 15 years and we value our continuing relationship with them.

“This letting demonstrates that Regent Street remains competitive in providing a unique international destination for business.”

BBH global CFO, David Pearce, said: “BBH is pleased to have agreed a lease renewal for our offices on Regent Street with The Crown Estate in such a timely fashion.

“We appreciate their direct involvement in the negotiations and look forward to the next 15 years on Regent Street.”
