The tallest residential building in Central London, Strata SE1, is nearing completion in July as the first key building to come out of the ground at the £1.5bn Elephant & Castle regeneration.
Brookfield Europe, the developers behind the 43-storey building, has sold 306 of the 310 private apartments in the scheme, with 98 affordable units.
The building includes three wind turbines designed into its roof, to generate around 8% of the tower’s energy consumption.
EGTV took a tour of the building ahead of its anticipated completion in three months time, and talked to Brookfield Developments director Justin Black about the company’s other developments and the future of Brookfield in the UK.
