MTV’s former Leicester Square studios are to be converted for use as restaurants.
Westminster council granted consent last week, subject to a legal agreement, for two separate units.
The first and second floors of the building, which is owned by Criterion Capital, housed MTV’s studios until the channel’s lease ran out in 2007, since when they have stood empty.
The first floor restaurant will seat 120 people and the second floor restaurant will seat 130 people.
