Department store giant John Lewis has agreed deals to open a further two ‘At Home’ stores.
The retailer will take a 59,000 sq ft store at Invista Real Estate Investment Management’s Mannington retail park in Swindon, Wiltshire, on a 15-year lease, and a 59,000 sq ft store with PRUPIM in Tunbridge Wells.
This takes the number of ‘At Home’ stores in the UK to four.
John Lewis plans to open a total of 30 of its smaller format stores at retail parks and in-town locations across the UK.
It has already signed deals for smaller stores in Poole, Dorset, and Croydon, South London.
Rob O’Hara, head of group funds at Invista, said: “We are delighted to welcome this new format to our retail park and in doing so rejuvenate the tenant mix and retail provision.
“The John Lewis ‘At Home’ concept has already proved to be incredibly successful and we feel it is a good fit for the scheme and the local catchment area.”
Ashworth Chartered Surveyors and Cushman & Wakefield advised John Lewis; Morgan Williams advised Invista.
