Stockley Park hotel plans given go-ahead

The third and final phase of Stockley Park will include a 450-bedroom hotel after the London Borough of Hillingdon resolved to grant consent to fresh plans last night.

The hotel will sit alongside the previously planned office and data centre uses at the business park.

The total developed area is expected to be over 750,000 sq ft.

Stockley Park Director John Harcourt said: “This is an exciting milestone in the park’s development. Stockley Park is Greater London’s largest and best known business park and remains at the forefront of development thinking.

“We will now be advancing discussions with occupiers to whom we can offer a combination of the latest in building design and sustainability coupled with extensive adjacent amenities, a hotel and good rail access to central London.”

A start-date for construction has yet to be set, but the infrastructure for Phase 3 has already been built and the first buildings could be complete as soon as Q4 2012.
