The public square of St Modwen’s Wembley Central – part of the £90m regeneration of the town centre – was the setting last month for the warm-up to a world record-breaking attempt for the largest number of people doing the Electric Slide dance routine, as part of Brent council’s Brent Respect Festival.
More than 1,000 local people set the record for the dance to Candy by Cameo.
