Rob Seabrook, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, has quit the agent after more than 20 years.
He is understood to be joining rival agent Savills to run the hotels team alongside Philip Johnston.
Seabrook will head up hotel agency, while Johnston will continue to lead the valuations business. Seabrook is expected to join Savills early next year.
Johnston said: “Rob has a great reputation within the hotels sector with investors and operators alike. He will boost Savills’ service offering with his broad knowledge and excellent contacts. We look forward to working with him both in the UK and across our global office network.”
Jonathan Hubbard, managing director and head of Northern Europe for JLL Hotels, added: “Michelle Webb, who has worked alongside Rob for several years, will lead the hotels agency team in London, supported by our established hotels teams in the regional UK offices and our Pan-EMEA agency team.
“We will continue to provide our clients with best-in-class service and advice, helping them to take advantage of opportunities as the market continues to recover.”
