With more than 60,000 properties listed from more than 800 companies, Propertylink has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading commercial property listings site.
It has now undergone a series of changes to ensure that it delivers even more to occupiers and agents listing properties. The powerful new search engine will make searches faster and return more relevant results, with a new “advanced search” making detailed searches clearer and easier to perform.
New options on the search results pages also help occupiers to refine their search without having to start from scratch. And new content designed specifically for occupiers will offer how-to guides (see below) and a clearer link to an improved agent-finder service.
What’s more, the new site is fully optimised for as much online exposure as possible. Try it out at www.estatesgazette.com/propertylink
You can search for a property directly from the home page by specifying location and property type. Alternatively, you can browse agents or by using our top keywords. Results are shown as a list or on a map.

• After years of debate, policies to combat the effects of climate change are working their way through the legislative process. Many of them are focused on minimising the property sector’s CO2 emissions. Cushman & Wakefield and the Building Research Establishment respond to some of the most frequently asked questions about this urgent issue.
• As legal challenges become more common, occupiers increasingly have to deal with problems that arise from the terms of their occupation as laid out in a leasehold agreement. Whether it is a dispute over service charges or rent review negotiations, law firm Charles Russell guides you through some of the most common issues.
• Business rates affect every occupier but they have developed a fearsome reputation for complexity. Lambert Smith Hampton’s Charles Partridge outlines the structure of the valuation process, explains what you need to do to qualify for a reduction in your rates bill, and advises on how to obtain temporary rating relief or qualify for the Empty Property Rate.
• For most companies, property accounts for their most significant cost after wages, so taking the right decisions when dealing with these issues can have a great impact on overall costs. EG Propertylink has asked experts from DTZ, Jones Lang LaSalle and Knight Frank to advise on some of the most common problems occupiers are likely to face.
