Henderson UK Property Fund this week submitted a planning application for its 3.9ha, retail-led development in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.
The £105m town centre scheme will comprise 100 flats, a 30,000 sq ft department store and extension to an existing Waitrose store, 35 shops, two restaurants, and 670 parking spaces.
If the project receives consent as expected by spring 2011, construction will begin in summer 2012, with the scheme due to open in autumn 2014.
