The Waldorf-Astoria London, a new-build £60m property, is scheduled to open in February within the Syon House Estate, in Brentford, one of many new hospitality developments on the horizon in London and the surrounding areas.
Others include 45 Park Lane, the venue of the former Playboy Club which reopens next summer after a £40m refurbishment; Corinthia London, in Whitehall Place and Four Seasons, Park Lane, which reopens at the end of January after a £125m revamp. W Hotels will open on the site of the old Swiss Centre building in February, the company’s first venture in Britain and Thompson Hotels will open next year with its first European hotel, in Belgravia.
