Kate Spade digs in at Floral Street

 


US fashion and accessories retailer Kate Spade is close to securing its first UK store. It is under offer to take Ted Baker’s 2,500 sq ft shop at 9-10 Floral Street, WC2.


 


The retailer is paying a £400,000 premium for the store, which is owned by a private family trust. The rent is £375,000 pa and there are two years unexpired on the lease.


 


Kate Spade is also seeking two further stores in London – in Chelsea and Marylebone.
