Hammerson has secured a major letting to budget retailer Primark at its revamp of the Queensgate shopping centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
The 59,000 sq ft letting is part of a £20m investment in the 870,000 sq ft centre, which includes a 10,000 sq ft extension. The development is due for completion in the middle of 2012. The addition of Primark follows recent deals signed with SuperDry, Pandora, Schuh and Republic.
Primark will trade over two floors and will open in time for Christmas trading next year.
