Thomas Sabo, the German lifestyle brand, is to open a store at Capital Shopping Centre’s Lakeside scheme in Essex.
The retailer will open a 500 sq ft store on the upper level of the main mall, adjacent to Cult, Apple, Guess, Next and The Fragrance Shop.
Thomas Sabo was founded in 1984 and has more than 160 company-owned shops worldwide.
In January, the retailer signed singer Katy Perry as its first face of the brand. She will feature in Thomas Sabo’s new advertising campaign.
Jonathan Ainsley, director of asset management South at CSC, said: “Thomas Sabo has built a loyal fan base of shoppers with its high-quality ranges. It adds to an already strong portfolio of jewellery retailers within Lakeside.”
Harald Winzer, UK managing director for Thomas Sabo, said: “Lakeside is a very popular shopping centre and has always been on my radar. We have now finally found an ideal location for our TS boutique in the main shopping aisle of the centre.”
