AW Developments has been awarded outline consent for a mixed-use scheme in Liverpool.
The £5m development project, designed by architect Falconer Chester Hall, comprises a 50,000 sq ft supermarket, additional retail and 59 residential units, including 44 family homes.
It will be built on the derelict Kensington Market site on the city’s Prescot Road.
Falconer Chester Hall director Alastair Shepherd said: “This scheme will provide a new focus for the community at the heart of their local centre and will also have considerable benefits in terms of investment and jobs.”
