Shoe retailer Aldo is to remain at its existing store at 309 Oxford Street, W1.
Aldo is understood to be paying a zone A rent of around £725 per sq ft for a new lease on the 15,300 sq ft store, which comprises three floors. The deal follows wide marketing of the flagship store.
The shop is located opposite House of Fraser and John Lewis and adjoins River Island and Uniqlo.
Last autumn, Aldo agreed a new letting with Great Portland Estates for a 6,500 sq ft shop at 184 Oxford Street. It also lined up collapsed retailer Suits You’s store at 372 Oxford Street with landlord F&C REIT.
Savills is advising the private Irish landlord; CBRE is advising Aldo.
