John Gildersleeve, a senior non-executive director at British Land, is in no mood to slow down, even though he has reached the age of 65, reports The Daily Telegraph in a profile if the former Tesco director.
Gildersleeve also chaired Carphone Warehouse until recently and he is asked during the interview if the retailer’s joint venture with Best Buy has turned into a damp squib. Gildersleeve says such things take time. He is currently chairing a start-up technology company called Foodwiz, a smartphone app for allergy sufferers.
