Partnership House at 157 Waterloo Road, SE1, has been sold by its LPA receivers at Edward Symmons to hotel development and management company Shiva Hotels.
The 1.5-acre site, adjacent to Waterloo Station, was marketed for £17m.
The site has full planning permission for a 300-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel, which is due to open in 2012. It will be the first Hampton by Hilton in Central London, and one of the largest outside of the US. It will be operated by Shiva Hotels.
Richard Haines and Stephen Skinner of Edward Symmons were appointed LPA receivers by Anglo Irish Bank, lender on the site. It was brought to the market last year.
