Packaging manufacturer Smurfit Kappa has taken a 43,500 sq ft shed in West Thurrock, Essex.
The firm agreed a 10-year lease with BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management on Unit 2 at Gateway 25 at rent of £5 per sq ft.
Jonjo Lyles, associate director of London industrial agency at BNP PRE, said: “This is one of the larger deals done in West Thurrock in the last three years.”
BNP Paribas Real Estate and Altus Edwin Hill acted for BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management; Smurfit Kappa was represented by Knight Frank.
