Morston Assets is set to complete construction next month on a 220,000 sq ft Yours Business Networks centre in Gateshead.
The company, in partnership with Tolent Construction, is refurbishing the site adjacent to the A1 and close to the Metro shopping centre.
The space was acquired in 2008 for £20.25m, and includes the whole of the Watermark and Metro-Riverside Parks.
A former 40,000 sq ft BT building will provide open floorplates, a café and a gym.
Gunel Atkinson, Morston’s operational manager, said: “Morston Assets is excited about the opening of our third Yours Business Networks in Gateshead, the largest in our national portfolio. From September, we will be bringing a host of world-renowned business leaders to offer support and guidance to businesses in the North East.”
The facility is scheduled to open by the end of July.
