Stratford towers get green light

Newham council has granted planning permission to a residential-led development in Stratford, E15, near the entrance to the Olympic Legacy Park.

The scheme, designed by architects Jestico + Whiles, is a joint venture between Aitch Group, VFund and FOS Properties.

The 15- and 35-storey, aluminium clad buildings will be linked, and 85% of the dwellings will be dual aspect. The ground floor and first floors of the towers will be for commercial use.

There will be a landscaped public space on the riverside with pedestrian routes through the site linking to an existing footbridge and the high street. Karen.day@estatesgazette.com
