Birmingham’s mixed-use The Cube development is to house the city’s first private members’ club and bar.
Sanguine Hospitality, which has invested £10m in the project, will manage the operation alongside its four-star boutique Hotel Indigo operation, an associated health club and spa and the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill rooftop restaurant.
The 5,000 sq ft canalside bar will open out onto an open-air terrace area. Work on site is due to start imminently.
Neil Edginton, director at The Cube, said: “Since plans for The Cube were first put in place, we have always wanted to launch the first Soho House-style private members bar in Birmingham.”
The Cube also comprises office and residential space.
