Superdrug, Handmade Burger Company and Barclays are the latest retailers to take stores at Wakefield’s new Trinity Walk shopping centre.
Superdrug will occupy a 5,800 sq ft shop next to River Island, on the centre’s main shopping mall, while Barclays has taken a 6,800 sq ft store along Teall Way.
The Handmade Burger Company has signed up for a 3,000 sq ft restaurant adjacent to Pizza Express.
Trinity Walk – developed by a consortium comprising AREA Property Partners, Sovereign Land and Shepherd Construction – was approximately 90% let on opening in May.
Max La Frenais, leasing director at Sovereign Land, joint developer and development manager of Trinity Walk, said: “These are very strong additions to the tenant line-up at Trinity Walk and will perfectly complement the existing retailers in the centre. We are in advanced discussions with a number of retailers interested in taking the few remaining units at the centre and the continued success of Trinity Walk is undoubtedly encouraging them to sign up quickly.”
Lunson Mitchenall and Angermann Goddard & Loyd advise Trinity Walk; Francis & Co acted for Barclays; Mason & Partners advised Superdrug; and Burley Browne acted for Handmade Burger Company.
