Lewis’s Home Retail has bought TJ Hughes’ flagship outlet in Liverpool and sites in Eastbourne, Glasgow and Sheffield.
Administrator Ernst & Young said it would continue to try to sell the rest of the business, including 53 stores, as a going concern.
