Evans rides into Hanover Street

Evans Cycles is to open a new store at Liverpool ONE’s Hanover Street.

Evans Cycles’ 4,700 sq ft store opens on 3 October, and will be its first in the city.

The shop will stock a range of cycles and accessories and include a service centre.

Miles Dunnett, asset manager for the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said: “The brand’s heritage and offer are the perfect complement to Hanover Street.”

“Evans Cycles is also reflective of Grosvenor’s strategy to attract new brands to the city, with the tally now standing well in excess of 50% of the retail floor area. Point of difference stores, such as Evans Cycles and the recently announced Lego, create additional reasons to visit for shoppers from throughout the catchment.”

Evans Cycles’ managing director Mike Rice added: “With the popularity of cycling as a hobby on the increase, we identified a number of key locations around the UK in which Evans Cycles should have a presence. Liverpool was a priority for a new flagship, and there is no better place in the city than Liverpool ONE.”
