The Peel Group is optimistic that its 2.5m sq ft Peel International Trade Centre scheme in Merseyside will be awarded planning consent following a positive public response to the plans.
The group has revealed that its proposal for the Birkenhead Docks received unanimous support at a recent public exhibition. Of those who responded to the group’s questionnaire, 91% said job creation and the scheme’s potential to act as a catalyst for Peel’s Wirral Waters regeneration as important factors.
The planning application is due to go before Wirral council’s planning committee in September.
