Murray’s Response to expand into Manchester

Scottish entrepreneur Sir David Murray’s call centre group, Response, is seeking up to 50,000 sq ft of offices in Manchester.

The Glasgow-based firm has instructed DTZ to select options within Greater Manchester. Its search is understood to be focussing on Manchester city centre and the south Manchester business park area.

The Manchester market is increasingly popular with call centre occupiers. Last month, Indian outsourcing firm Aegis took 36,000 sq ft in Bruntwood’s City Tower in the city centre, in a deal hailed by local agents as an important inward investment transaction for region.
