The Milton Group has purchased a 52,000 sq ft warehouse in Strood, Kent, for £2.45m from Hadleigh Industrial Estates.
Meyer Timber has signed a 15-year lease on the site for a rent of £225,000 pa.
Jimmy Bell, associate director in the JLL South East investment team, said: “Hadleigh carefully refurbished this unit for Meyer Timber, who now trade very successfully from it. Deliverability was paramount and Milton were excellent performers.”
