Student housing developer London Cornwall Property Partners is hoping to treble the size of its portfolio over the next three years.
The group, set up by former Knight Frank partner Tim Atlee, this week unveiled plans for its fourth property: a £15m redevelopment of the former Gateway Theatre in Edinburgh. The six-block scheme will comprise 155 bedrooms, a cinema and seminar rooms.
Subject to consent, LCPP hopes to have the project finished by the 2013 academic year.
Atlee said: “We see a strong market for high-end student flats in Russell Group cities and we have strong investment backing to support out plans for developing some dozen sites over the next three years.”
