Plans for a 650-bed student accommodation scheme off the River Colne in Huddersfield, have been unveiled by Watkin Jones.
The student buildings would sit on a two acre site on King’s Bridge Road, near the University of Huddersfield.
As well as the en-suite rooms, plans also include recreation space and landscaped gardens.
The cost of construction to Watkin Jones is thought be around £20m. Architect firm K4 and TPM Landscape have also been involved in the planning.
The proposals will be submitted by the end of September, with a decision expected early in 2012.
