Boutique cinema group Everyman has acquired its ninth venue.
The group has taken a 15-year lease on a 5,000 sq ft former bar at 215 Sunderland Avenue in Maida Vale, NW6.
The building, owned by a private investor, will undergo a substantial refurbishment to transform it into an art house cinema. The Everyman Cinema Maida Vale will feature two screens, a bar and a food offering.
The group hopes to have the venue open by the end of the year.
