National Grid and the London Development Agency have been given the go-ahead to transform a 12.3-acre former gasworks site into a £250m mixed-use development.
The pair plan to turn the site at Haringey Heartlands, N8, into a residential-led scheme comprising 1,080 flats and around 27,000 sq ft of offices, shops and restaurants.
Initial proposals for the project, to be known as Clarendon Square, were worked up in early 2007 and plans were submitted in March 2009. Drivers Jonas Deloitte is advising on planning.
