Henderson Global Investors has appointed Andrew Friend to lead its UK distribution team for its £12.4bn property business.
As director of institutional business, Friend will take overall responsibility for the London-based property distribution team, driving future growth into both existing and less explored capital markets.
The team will focus on building up its sovereign wealth network while also exploring the potential within the private wealth markets.
Friend said: “This is an exciting role for me having already been with Henderson for 11 years and I enter it with enthusiasm. I’m really looking forward to working with the current established team. Together, we have got the commitment and momentum to grow the business with a broad spectrum of clients.”
