Grosvenor chief executive Peter Vernon was kidnapped this morning by colleagues in a stunt to raise money on LandAid Day.
Vernon called the EGi newsdesk pleading for support. “I’m calling in some desperation,” he said. “I’m sitting in a room chained up and padlocked in until I raise at least £750 for LandAid. It’s particularly urgent as there are almost one million young people unemployed in Britain and LandAid is a charity that works exclusively with disadvantaged young people. I’m trying to raise as much money as I can but until I raise at least £750 I can’t get out.”

There will be full coverage of LandAid Day events on EGi all day. Keep up to date on Twitter at #LandAidDay.
