The London Development Agency and Premier Inn have secured planning permission for a hotel and restaurant development in Dagenham, east London.
A 80-bedroom hotel and Brewers Fayre restaurant will be built on Chequers Corner, a 2-acre site close to the A13.
John Rumsey, acquisition manager for Premier Inn, said: “Our target is to double the number of Premier Inn bedrooms within the M25 by 2016, and the new hotel in Dagenham takes us closer to achieving that target.”
Construction is planned to start early next year.
