Administrators at Ernst & Young have sold von Essen Hotels’ Mount Somerset country hotel.
The 19-bed hotel, which has a spa, in Lower Henlade, has been sold to Eden Hotel Collection. The property was valued at £3m.
Jeremy Jones, director of corporate hotels for Christie + Co, which advised the administrator, said: “As anticipated, the von Essen Hotels portfolio has generated, and continues to generate, significant interest, and we fully expect to announce further sales in the days and weeks ahead.”
